Love how in the second photo you can see Cody Cropper with a firm hug/hold of Dani out of fear he is about to headbutt/bite someone even though he is an outlier of the scrum, clearly has his head screwed on does Cody!
http://www.squawka.com/news/2013/12...stle-hold-southampton-to-a-draw/2013121443775 I thought it was Santon that was dispossessed by Hoover to set up our goal scoring move?
Both clubs will be called to the FA to explain themselves, they will apologise and fines will be handed out. Both clubs will be warned about their future conduct. Saints haven't a bad disciplinary record so can't see it being more than that. Osvaldo looked like he wanted to join in...luckily he is being held back
Was he mashing the keyboard at time whilst his mum changed his nappy? Who cares, won't be docked points, big fuss about nothing.
Bad first half, good second. Nice goal from us, Remy missed a sitter so can't complain. Ref got slapped and did terrible dive. Pretty happy all in all.
Our manager can't speak English. He was watching MOTD the other night and heard a commentator pronounce 'Fonte' as 'Font'. He thought "Ah, I've been calling him 'Jos-ay-' all along, when actually it's been 'Jos'. Why is English so complicated? " (His thoughts are in English) He says the next day "Hola, Que Tal, Sacapuntas bocadila ce Jos?" David Salas will tell you that this means "Hello Jose (pronounced 'Jos'), you will start the next game, and every over game of the season. You are the Portuguese Cafu. The South Coast's Maldini." It's all a matter of lost translation.
He's not fit. Have to say, though it was a dreadful swing and miss from Hooiveld, Ward-Prowse let Gouffran run, should really have tracked him and not assumed it would be cleared. That's a lesson learnt I'm sure.
I think Jose might be carrying a slight injury but, with the amount of games coming up over the next few weeks, it pays to keep the squad involved. Yes, Jos starting/playing today probably [I'm being kind] cost us a goal, but it keeps players a bit fresher, and it bears out Poch's assertion that the squad will play, not just the first eleven. We have to take those things on the chin and play until the squad can be strengthened. I always find it a bit strange that, apart from the very best, players in improving/strengthening teams have to play so well that eventually they will get themselves superseded by a better player. We've seen a lot of it over the last few seasons and no doubt we'll see a lot more. BTW, nice to see that Pardew and Lallana smacked hands together while Adam was on the bench today. Personally and professionally, there were no ghosts there. EDIT: Nice. please log in to view this image
