Look. We can't let the Mags sack our manager like we sacked Gullit.

Lets get beat off Brighton and Swansea first.

  4. I don't think either side will struggle. I think both teams will finish mid table and comfortably away from relegation <ok>

I gave up after the 3rd page of bickering.

Sunderland bossed large periods in the first half, Newcastle bossed large periods of the second.

Sunderland might have had a few decent chances, but there were no 'gilt-edged' ones, mainly speculative long rangers (Sessegnon, Gyan). The same can be said about Newcastle (Cabaye's effort). (I'll not count the penalty appeal. And Gosling's one-on-one was when the game had died).

The only time Newcastle looked genuinely at sixes and sevens was when Colback (I think) put that ball across the 6 yard box. Someone should have been on the end of that.

For a home team, in a local derby, that's not good enough.

Where do the Sunderland fans get the idea that this Newcastle team is ****e? Where do the Sunderland fans get the idea that this Sunderland team are worldbeaters? Because Newcastle have signed 'unproven in the premier league' players? Because Bruce has made 10 summer signings?

It's bizarre. Both teams are there or thereabouts mid-table fodder. Sunderland probably edge it over who has the best squad, but if you stuck both teams best 11's together there would be little between them.

The thing that I would like to pick up on is where Cestriamackem said 'Newcastle are ****e... butt we were worse', in particular the use of tenses. The (subtle?) implication is that Newcastle are 'poor' full-stop, but that Sunderland, although 'worse on the day', will normally play to a higher standard! Time will tell ..................

Vitriolic bile. You're obviously a very angry man/woman.
Take a step back, try anger management maybe, and forget about MON (he's shot his bolt and was very unpopular at Villa).
Most of us were optimistic before the season began and one result, as disappointing as it was, is not going to change anything surely.

As I have stated on a number of occasions, at times I firmly believe that we have a huge number of fans who suffer from schizzophrenia by the manner in which they can change their whole outlook from one game to the next...

Look guys, you have won this game once in 31 years, and that was because Butt made a stupid tackle and Richardson scored quite a sexy freekick. What are you smoking that you think every time you're gonna win? Start hoping for draws. Don't hype yourself up each time for the disappointment. You're losers. You can't beat us in the derby. Just get over it already.

Gee, what's with the namecalling MrRA, grow up already.

Alright, I'll break it down differently for you boys. This allegory won't be hard to grasp, since it's probably close to home, for most of you.

So you're a big lad yeah? A lard arse so to speak. Not much of a job, little ambition, even less energy. So this beautiful lass is at your favourite pub every other thursday evening for a drink with her coworkers. And on each occasion you get yourself all pumped up and think tonight you're going to score. You step up and get rejected time after time.

Sunderland is the lard arse, Newcastle is the beautiful lady. It's just not on boys. In your lifetime you're maybe going to beat us twice and be on the receiving end 18 times. it's just a law of nature, accept it, embrace it, and live with it.

What's your club anyway? Your stadium looks cheap, and your shirts are ugly. No wonder you're a bunch of losers.

Perhaps it's because your post insinuates that all Sunderland fans were harping on about an easy victory which is simply not true..

    Quite a sexy freekick?

If we're talking the sexiness of that free kick it was as sexy as Kelly Brook, Cheryl Cole and Scarlet Johannson sharing a shower.
