What did you make of Top Diktat, looked like he was going to be tailed off and then almost won! Without doubt needs a good amount of cut to produce best but that was a nice run against his olders, deffo one to keep an eye out for mate Did you see The Noble Ord, given a great ride and well worth missing a few pints for Attractions full/half sister ran recently and won doing handstands, she was pulled out of the listed race at Sandown this week-end but is one to follow and should improve, FEDERATION. Finally we discussed that maiden at Sandown where Sir Michael had 4 entered, well what a race from the winner NEWNTON LODGE, that could be a very nice horse indeed. What a season both the Prince and Mr Charlton are having --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Top Diktat - already discussed The Noble Ord - I thought it was a poor race but yes it was a good ride. Not sure if that race is going to be remembered by anyone!! Sandown maiden - Winner was well punted which might suggest that they had him spot on (or perhaps it was just mug punters backing by yard), I liked the ride on him, he made sure the horse had an education and won with a bit of ease too. I like the horse and he is a nice size and should go on from this race, however I thought Debating Society would turn out to be a good horse. In usual SMS style he was given a tender ride and also looked in the need of time and experience, he has scope to be a good horse too. I actually think the race will work out well in the long term, however I do wonder if the winner was just the most forward of the good horses and won because of that. I would want to take the second and third on next time out.
