If the linesman could see blood then he should have communicated this quicker to the ref. Even without blood it should have been obvious that it was a head injury. On the whole I think the refs have been shocking (again) this season, but I'm afraid he got the back pass decision right, although the B'burn player was being a bit of a tosser. Also read that a B'burn player was waiting in the tunnel for Cassetti. My money would have been on Cassetti.
My quote of the weekend comes from an unhappy Blackburn fan. "When we have a man like Lee Williamson, deservedly in the 1st team - then it just shows have far we have fallen under the Venkyscum ownership - here is a man who has the footballing talent of a traffic cone - and he was arguably our best player today !"
He did get the back pass right, I don't think there can be any debate with that one, even Oldnick would find it hard too, but then again.... As for te tunnel incident, there was a commotion and the team took a while to leave the pitch, but other than that I couldn't see anything. But I do know Marco had a security escort from the ground to the coach.
i was suprised Almunia didn't get a card for the backpass...i thought that was a yellow offense. First half...<yawn> second half...different feel completely, especially after the first goal. Every goal was a peach, and Anya's volley would have been an incredible goal! MoM was Forestieri by miles, but they all worked hard today and Abdi's goal was fab, shame they didn't show much of it on FLS ...no surprise though! Oh, and Blackburn were awful! Right, onto Leicester...gawd i hope we can get 3 points and keep up the excitement levels a bit longer!
Better get the excuses in now....referee for this Friday's game is a Mr Hateanythingyellow from Luton,Beds
