i agree with the sentiment Leonardo, but as Dave said, it was a minority of the fans...and the rest don't deserve the same punishment...

Agree if it really was only a minority - always got the impression from the telly that it was a widespread view - but perhaps they were very vociferous

Excuse me poking my snout in,but that was no minority.Heard that crowd on radio commentaries and in particular the venom directed at Keen during the match when they were relegated was really appalling!
Get the impression that man had no chance from the start probably simply cos he wasnt a 'name'.

In my learned view, no sympathy for the club or a large amount of their supporters....spoilt on the earlier Walker Riches and forgot their roots.
Could even end up supporting the Hornets tomorrow...that'll be the end of their promotion challenge !

    MATCH FACTS
    Head-to-head

    • These clubs first met 44 years ago, with Blackburn winning 10 and losing nine of their 27 league encounters.

    • Rovers are looking for a third successive victory over the Hornets, a first at Vicarage Road since February 2001 in the Premier League, and a first double over the Hertfordshire club since their initial meeting in the old Second Division.

    • Watford have lost only two of their last 10 home league games against Rovers.

    Watford

    • Since losing to Blackpool in the second week of March, when they fell out of the top two automatic promotion places, Watford have managed one win in seven outings.

    • They are now all but resigned to a second venture in the play-offs since making an immediate return from the Premier League in 2007.

    • Gianfranco Zola's side are eager to avoid three straight league losses, last endured in early September.

    • After Blackburn, the Hornets must face play-off contenders Leicester at the King Power Stadium on 26 April, and host Leeds eight days later.

    Blackburn Rovers

    • Back-to-back home wins over Derby and Huddersfield have seen trouble-torn Blackburn rise to three places and two points above the relegation zone, with a game in hand on their rivals.

    • Rovers have not registered three consecutive wins in this Championship campaign, but have twice recorded a trio of victories in league and cup - the first at the change of the year when Gary Bowyer was caretaker manager first time around.

    • The Lancashire club have also lost their last five league games on the road and have not won in seven away this calendar year. Their last away victory was against Barnsley on 29 December, and their last league clean sheet away from Ewood Park was at Nottingham Forest on 3 October.

    • Blackburn will have three to play after this, away to Millwall (23 April) and Birmingham (4 May), with a home clash against Crystal Palace in between (27 April).

Would have to agree with Nick. There was a large number of 'fans' giving Keen the most appalling stick. In his situation I think I would have walked, although he was probably earning more than the average Tesco worker which might have had a say in the matter.

Doesn't look as if Bristol City are giving up at Hull. They have had more shots on goal than Hull. Could they? ;)

It's amazing how often a club that is relegated with still games to play, they can relax, no pressure and often end up with a couple of unlikely wins!

True - I'm sure Hull saw that game as a three pointer. Squeaky bum time for them over the next two games - and if they lose at Barnsley.....

We have two games now before Hull play again. We could be just one point behind by then. Sounds as if they were no good tonight, with players looking tired. Seem to have heard that a lot lately.

You can't lose either tomorrow or next Friday, if you don't it will be very nervy for us come next Saturday. However, you have tough games coming up.

good luck against Blackburn tomorrow, if you win our players might get that kick up the arse that they need.

either way i think we'll win against barnsley and be promoted, then you'll hope to win your remaining games for momentum into the play off's

Wonderful division is the Championship. You have no idea what will happen in any match which keeps the anticipation alive and well.

Almost be a shame to leave it all behind and know that it will be a struggle in the PL, even if the club will have more money.

Tell that to some of our fans, and i use the term loosely. Some idiots booed the players at the end tonight.
