Come On You Reds! Would we have taken being 2-1 up at HT? Of course. We have been the better team. Lets hope we do a City and score straight after HT and hit cruise control.
Appreciate it pal but something that we have learned repeatedly this season is that you can deserve or not deserve to have all kinds of things but what matters is actually getting them, deserved or undeserved a goal is a goal. If we got all the goals and points we deserved based on overall performance we'd be sitting pretty in the top half. This is fairly classic Saints this season, although I have to say we haven't often dominated to this degree. Hopefully will be a wake-up call to our boys and we can restore our dominance but I can see an unpleasant half coming up for us.
From what I can see and understand, these Russian pundits are absolutely raving about Saints, and Ramirez.
As per the Norwich, Swansea, Man Utd, Man City, Newcastle, Fulham, Everton, Arsenal, Wigan games. Congratulations on picking out the one game we didn't piss up though.
Almost seems like Rodriguez can't buy a goal at the moment..............................he's gonna be deadly once he starts putting them in.
Nice afternoon at St. Mary's, lets hope we keep it up for 50 more.... please log in to view this image
Can a kind person send me a link to a live stream please? One where theres not too much pissing about. Cheers.
Ramirez has been outstanding. Could he possible do 90??? On a side note, I see that after our excellent first goal Garth Crooks said he thought it was a poor goal to concede and that he expected Liverpool to "get something out of this game". After last week, when Lawrenson said he thought Norwich would win because they were on good form but not winning and we would lose because we were on good form but not winning, I am really starting to want to smack the whole array of BBC football pundits in the face...
Agree. Lallana and Lambert should have done much better. Like I said, I don't think Rodriguez's chance was quite the sitter it was made out to be, but he still could have scored there. But on the bright side, I think they are looking more direct and decisive on offense. They are finishing badly, but they are at least trying to finish. I think against Norwich they sometimes hesitated too long and got closed down or took shots when the GK was prepared and ready. They are taking better advantage of some of the turnovers today by capitalizing quick. Keep taking those shots when the defense isn't set and sooner or later someone will make a mistake, or you'll get good bounce and a sloppy goal.
We've actually defended really well, so I'm not completely a bag of nerves right now. Lucas on for them. Let's go.
We are currently 7 points clear of the relegation zone, if it all goes to pot it could be down to 2 points. One of the biggest 45 minutes of our season now...
Mainly because we're playing Liverpool (a very good team), rather than because of some arbitrary statistics.
