It was a hard call to make with slow-motion and a camera looking right down the goal line. The linesman had no chance of making any sort of 'correct' decision.
the ball wasnt out guys, sorry to say. the whole of the ball didnt cross the line so its in play. i was proud of the team,there are issues that we need to fix but i felt man city would have put 4-5 past about 16 other teams in the prem league last night. we were well beaten but i think we are just about good enough, it will all become clearer after the wigan game on saturday
4-0 was a bit harsh if I'm honest but I'm sure you'll take a lot of positives out of the game.Games away at places like ours will have no bearing on your season and should be used as inspiration for your lads to see that they belong in the league.If you can keep up that level of performance then a mid table position should be achievable.The young lad Allen who came on should be one of the first names on the team sheet,a real live one for the future. Glad to see it isn't just "rose tinted (dragon tinted?) glasses on the Joe Allen thing, we've all rated him for a while and he has definitely got the potential to do big things. 4-0 was harsh overall maybe but let's be honest guys, we could have lost 8-0 easily but thatnks to Vorm we didn't. Debates about that ball being out are not really relevant are they?
