David James and Steve Macacamanamanamanamacaman should be ashamed of themselves with their comments. We dominated before and even after Rodriguez was injured and before the 2nd goal, City had 1 shot on target. It clearly killed the game. ****ing idiots, I don't know what more to say!
We all know Gazzaniga isn't good enough but there's no point laying into him. Boruc will be back next week and we can get a new keeper in the summer.
Can anyone who is tech-savvy please make a humourous gif(?) of Morgan putting Toure on his big fat arse. Thanks.
I hate him so much. did you hear him before the game? Luke Shaw IS going and Saints have no chance of ever getting top 4. Honestly, Rickie Lambert is the only likeable scouser. you alright beef?
Re Rodriguez, it's not definitely all over yet, remember Ramirez v Sunderland whose ankle got in all kinds of angles, but only put him out for a month. We'll have to wait for the scan in a few days (which will surely just confirm Jake Humphrey's expert medical opinion proffered at half time).
It fits with the narrative that they want to push! The biggest and richest teams should always win and are always better.
The problem is that those weren't blunders. His game is fundamentally unsound. If you compare him to say, Hooiveld-- Hooiveld knows what he's supposed to do. He plays for the most part correctly, he's simply not agile or quick enough. Wanyama makes bad mistakes but again on defense his positioning is good and he understands his task. Gazzaniga just doesn't know how to play goalkeeper. I'm not trying to pile on, but Gazzaniga definitely was the worst player on the field by far, and he was shockingly bad and has been just about every time he's played. That's just the way it is. I hope he gets a loan next year or something because he needs lots and lots of playing time. The problem is, I'm pretty sure he couldn't even cut it in Championship and it's too important a position for teams to be willing to let them learn on the job.
He certainly installs no confidence in the defense and consequently they drop back 5 or 10 yds to cover him, thus putting us on the back foot. As has been said many times his decision making is flawed.
