    The worst thing about him is that he still gets a game. He's not very good but he tries hard and helped us to a respectable finish last season despite us selling Carroll. We need to bring quality in so Lovenkrands isn't part if our plans.

    he was **** for us last year in the prem, no bones about it

    i'm willing to chalk this up to the fact that he simply can't play in a team that plays the way we did last season. we had 1 winger, so didn't stretch back 4s, therefore he had no gaps to run through. even if we had stretched the back 4s, we had no ball playing centre mid to slot it through for him, so he would've had no balls to run onto in the gaps. even if we had stretched teams and had a ball playing centre mid, the game plan would've been to launch it forward and get a knockdown for nolan, with loverman just running aimlessly off thinking/wanting it to be played over the top as the ball gets hoofed to the big man.

    he was wasted, and therefore a wasted spot in the team
