I know it was his left foot, but that was an awful attempt by Lambert.

 

I thought Wanyama would have learnt in the SPL how to use time on the ball and the space around him wisely, due to the small pitches. He's strong enough to hold off players too, he just needs more composure.

Got to say, I have only seen the three most recent games, and from the sounds of it he was impressive in the first few, but I'm not really rating Wanyama at the moment. The weakest of our signings in my opinion.

 

We're playing some great stuff, man. Promising.

 

It saddens me that people can't see how good Wanyama is.

 

I think I'm one of the only ones, to be fair. He's just not impressed me so far, and I don't think he's any better than Cork.

Getting some luck from this ref, who is terrible.

 

Ref has been very kind to us.

 

Could well have had a penalty.

 

Rodriguez not really in the game, seems to be doing a lot of tracking back though.

 

And Osvaldo's first touch is sublime, the ball just seems to stick to him.

 

Liverpool seem to be getting rather frustrated

 

Pretty incredible...Man U loanee Jesse Lingard scored his first senior goal for Birmingham City today, 20 minutes in. And his second, 29 minutes in. And his third, 33 minutes in. Also, he's apparently an attacking mid.

 

Sounds like they need to just stick him up front

 

Good in stretches, somewhat shaky when Liverpool has countered, lucky not to have surrendered a pen. All adds up to that familiar 0-0 halftime feeling.

 

Good half. Lucky about the pen but very pleasing.

This is what makes me very positive about Saints. Not the goals - the fact we never look outclassed.
