Doesn't Jamie Carragher make Plain Rooney look like Benni McCarthy on a regular basis. Then again, apart from the opinions of skanks there is **** all difference between the granny shagger and Benni McCarthy.
I agree there's a case for it. As I said, he may well become that. But we've seen players be world class in one league and average in another before, so it's far too early to be proclaiming him as the best without having seen him play a string of games.
