I thought that's what we were aiming for though, the tippy-tappy football style of play?

he won't improve our current strike options by an amount to justify his wages

Interesting point. I remember reading on the Arsenal board their fringe players get pretty high wages.

I'd play Ba, Best, Shola, Ranger then Bendtner.

At the minute, I'd take him. No doubt in my mind.

Regardless of what people say about him, he has played a lot of games for an awesome team and has played in the biggest competitions in the world, and he's only 23

  9. I reckon he could get 12-15 goals if he starts regularly. He didn't get the opportunity at Arsenal.

He regularly has 3 or 4+ shots and barely hits the target. 9 against Leeds and failed to score.

Oh right. Care to elaborate? Bendtner is ****e. Offers no more than Shola.

he's ****e. probably wouldnt come anyways, it would be quite the step down from Le Arse to Le Toon for someone of his arrogance, i think he'll go abroad.

    barely hitting the target

my point was that best barely ever hit the target, but when he did they more often than not went in and he managed quite a good goal to game ratio during his 'purple patch' regardless of the squandered chances

Oh i get you now. But Bendtner barely hits the target, and even then his shots rarely go in. Truly a poor player.

we are not going to sign him for 3 simple reasons:

1.transfer fee will be too much for tight arse Ashley.
    2. wages will be too much for tight arse Ashley.
    3. Cwarr is saying it is 'nailed on'.

If we do sign him, the transfer fee will be high which means he will be coming to be a starter but I cant see Ba not being in the line up
