Just to balance things up you're definitely in my bottom 3 posters, just about pipping GMI and banana. :1980_boogie_down:

Pisses me off how they just buy players so others can't.

Sorry wrong. Firstly your player went down and we knocked it out; the ball was in your half and we could have carried on an attack but Guly knocked it out. Secondly, if anyone was a c word you'd have to look at Jelovic because he I sportingly chased Boruc down as the ball was going out if the area. No wonder Boruc let it go out.

Funny. This question of stockpiling came up in one of the BBC MOTD pundit moments, and I think it was Mark Chapman who mentioned about rich clubs stockpiling players, and the pundits looked at him disbelieving.

    Are they that naive..?

The thing about Boruc is if the fans give him some stick then he starts playing up to it, he absolutely loves being the villain. It amuses the hell out of me, but I can see why it would wind up opposing fans.

Yeah that figures. Hadn't noted he'd said that. He'd do a lot worse than coming here though (I'd obviously think that!)

Now I'm looking furtively and fearfully around for Olly hoping he's not around to see this, but really if Rickie has this back issue (and his ever decreasing mobility suggests it's true), how long do we nostalgically persist? It's getting to the point now where his genuinely good games are becoming the rarity (and that doesn't mean I don't love him, I'm just being realistic here).

Chelsea are by far the worse, they must have at least 10 players out on loan.

Well, with that kind of praise we'll have to see what the Lads can do for you. Cheers.

Yeah, I did mean Lallana. They're so easily confused, those two.

In my defense, I'm not very bright.

Until he's been to the World Cup. I think he'll have hit all the necessary career landmarks after that one. He will probably then become a sort of Kevin Phillips-style super sub for a while, but we definitely will be looking at finding a better striker in the summer.

    Schneiderlin.

Yeah. I wonder if Corky sometimes wishes he could still be out on loan to teams like Barnsley or somewhere else..?

Starting with 'you-know-who' on Saturday. I believe that dish is a chilly one.

Oh he still has something to offer, for sure, but methinks super sub is the future.

Problem is that he's totally right: with FFP, it makes a lot of sense to gobble up every hyper-talented 5-10m wonderkid, spin them off on loan for a couple years, and then sell them for three times the price. Ruthlessly turning football into a meat market: not just for FM players anymore!

I thought Lambert had buried that early chance on my stuttering stream, but that summed up another frustrating match in the final third to follow on from that 2nd half against Stoke.
Brilliant in midfield as usual and we really do punish sides who carry passengers and Jelavic was that man for Hull and even Long seemed a little subdued. The match looked to pass Huddlestone by(Any England calls don't look good on this evidence).
Our final pass was largely disappointing. Davis & Lambert the two major culprits, but everyone had a moment of either being slightly sloppy with the pass or going for an eye of the needle type ball to someone with a couple of defenders on them.

Still this is just nit picking on what was overall a very good away display. Top effort from all the players yet again. Brilliant to watch a team play together with such confidence and commitment.

I'm excited about that bit. Wonder what kind of player Poch will go for. To be fair I don't think it will be Lukaku-shaped (<cry>).

Sorry I realise now that I'd got the wrong injury and remember Do Prado kicking it out which was very good, but Jela was jogging towards him from about 25 yards away after it became obvious that Boruc was leaving it to waste time like he had done all night. Referees really need to start booking keepers earlier for it as it is pointless waiting until the last minute to do it and tonight I can't believe he didn't even get one.
