Good thing about Clyne is we can sub him in to either FB position. Sad to leave him out because I think he is great, but I would have to say Chambers too. Saying that this could be one of those days when our full backs just play up front. Hope I'm not getting overexcited...ok I am.

Interesting...thanks for posting it. Argyle must feel the same way as we do when everyone forgets our contribution to the development of Walcott and Chamberlain. I think the coach was right when he said that he likes to look at the family background...good stable family can mean even more than genes. Kids from a rough background are more likely to let it all go to their heads and to mix with the wrong crowds. Alex Ferguson said much the same thing....he also said that he liked his players to marry early for the same reason, but I guess we can give Sam a few years for that. He has to keep working...let's hope he achieves his potential.

I would still start with Rickie though and put Sam on for last 20 mins (depending on game).

I would like to see Lambert start too. Would be great for Sam to get on the pitch though, especially if it is going well for us.

I think Sam will start. No point rushing Rickie and risk the injury. Bring him on if we get a pen:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Let lallana take it. He needs to establish himself for shootouts in the World Cup.

Lambert and Chambers to start for me. We need Rickie to get his form back and there won't be many better chances to do that than against Fulham. Chambers has been awesome and fully deserves to be first choice...........on current form.

Yeah Lambert should start for me. Gallagher did well against Arsenal but he's not done enough to displace Lambert yet. Now that Osvaldo's gone it's time for Rickie to step up. Needs a strong finish to the season if he is to have any hope of going to the world cup.

Hmmm, if Sunderland finish Newcastle, we can really close up on the with a win today.

Hope to see Rickie back to himself now that Osvaldo is out of the picture...must feel more wanted now.

Looks like Shaw's yet to learn to tie his laces...

In other news, judging by the way other games are going/I expect them to go, 3 points today would really help us put some distance between us and Villa, and close the gap on Newcastle.

Nothing against Victor, but sorry I can't agree with Cork being benched.

Ah Corky...well he will come off the bench to seal the win.

Bent as a lone striker?? Wow...
