Morning gents, hope we are in good form for this Bamk Holiday weekend... Plenty to go at but not much im interested in, but...

Ffos Las...
5.25 - Ripalong Lad, 9/1

5.55 - Paddy The Hare, 3/1 nap
A winner at this distance over hurdles before, with Sam Twister on top. He can guide Paddy The Hare to victory here...

Good luck to all today...

indulge me my friends with a formula that i think will reward

at Thirsk today Danny Tud rides Soprano for Jim Goldie even though Dave O has Descaro in the same race, then at Newcastle this evening
Danny rides St Oswald even though Goldie has Monel in the same race
so, and ive not been told this in straight terms, but i know how much dave o and goldie rate danny and i think these 2 he rides today have great shouts

watch and learn (or burn) my friends

Danbo: That Newc race looks a tricky affair mate!

Soprano is plenty short enough considering he has gone up 14 lbs!! I'd be wary mate but obviously good luck <cheers>

Heisenberg, Just looked at Al Doha FC price about 12/1. Would be put off by the draw though. Think middle to high draw is best? Had many a good time at Redcar when i was stationed at Brambles Farm.

I guess anything more dapper than a KAPPA tracksuit & Nike Airs will be deemed best dressed at Redcar

Not that im saying Danboro dresses in such outfits (as thats how it looks in my reply!)

Wow can't get over the price of Afaal. Cheers anyone for the nice words.

PN, I always make that mistake without even thinking what I'm writing and Nass has already pulled me up on it before! Will do my best to rectify the mistake in future!

Yeah, worth a go at 12s, thats for sure Danbo. Seems odd it hasnt run since Dappers first race. Maybe something wasnt quite right with the horse.

2.20 Newmarket – GLEE E.W (20/1 BOG)

Glee is a filly I have been following since her debut at Windsor back in May. She was beaten comfortably by Angels Will fall (subsequent Group 3 winner) but pulled clear of the rest. She built on that effort next time out when comfortably getting the better of Falls Of Lora (now rated 90) in a Goodwood maiden. I had put her up as my best bet of Glorious Goodwood as I thought she was really well handicapped off a mark of 78 but she could only manage 10th of 15 that day. She did however shape a lot better than that result suggests as she was hampered inside the final furlong and then eased when the chance had gone. Glee’s latest start was 15 days ago at this track in a nursery, she finished 5th that day which was a respectable effort but also shaped as if this slight step up in distance would suit. She has been dropped 3lbs to a mark of 75 and I still feel she is capable of better than she has showed on her two latest outings. In my opinion she is massively overpriced at 20/1 this afternoon and is well worth an E.W play.

Danbo/Don: That Al Doha was very disappointing on debut, the amount of cash surely means they expected something more on debut!

Kevin Ryan however is very capable of bringing one back ready to rumble after a disappointment <ok> Good Luck with him

Danbo: Get yasen on Secret Witness 340 Ffos Las EW mate <cheers>

Well lads regards the Afaal horse and its odds... Those cheeky chaps at Pad Pow only have it 33-1...!!! And as you quiet rightly point out you can get the 100-1 at Bet365...

Slight difference of opinion, as they would say... Most have it around the 50/40-1 mark...

redcgull PaddyPower are a bunch of tight feckers - take a look at any race on oddschecker, you will see they rarely offer best prices
