it was all intentional IMHO.... his comments are designed to speed up a swift (and cheaper for the buying club) exit from SJP ASAP.
He'll go to Liverpool this week, we'll get £5m for him and FMA will bring in a conference left back for nowt.
Sorry to sound cynical but the misinformation coming out of Gallowgate is now reaching deafening levels and I'm had enough of it now to be fair.
My working assumption from now on is that we will only sign cheap, **** players and everything coming out of NUFC pure ****e (welcome to the club I can alraedy hear a few of you saying). If I'm wrong, then I'll be pleasantly suprised.
If you expect sweet FA then anything else is an added bonus.....

I think everyone is overstating this whole affair. Affect fellow players, particularly new ones? Hardly. The modern day footballer has seen it all and they just get on with the day job. Jose just needs to move on. We should have been actively trying to offload him since January. We all would love him to stay but he has outgrown us and we can't give him what he wants. Sure the club has misled everyone again by saying they will be making a fantastic offer, which turns out to be a 5 year contract on the same wages, but they are playing it tight with finances. You're always gonna get this kind of thing with the advent of twitter (which I loathe). He spoke out of line, he was fined, nothing more. He let his frustration get the better of him and its understandable with the club not being honest about contract offers (the same money is not a fantastic offer in any sane persons book). He's torn. He clearly loves it here but realises his career is stagnating. The club as usual can't lie straight in bed, and this is a recipe for a messy parting of ways. I've accepted he's gone, so lets see if the club is really serious about moving in the right direction by having his replacement lined up.

As I've said all along, as long as we don't flog Jose last minute and then claim we didn't have time to get a replacement, it's his fault for stringing us along, and various other bollocks then I'm not too fussed. I don't want to hear the names Kadar and Ferguson being pushed forward as the answer, and I defo do not want Wayne ****ing Bridge.

The club now needs to act. Get rid of Enrique and get a replacement in, stop dragging it out. I'd be lying if I wasn't suspicious the club are dragging it out deliberately so they can claim the above scenario. I'm ok with Jose seeing out the final year of his contract too like Barton. I think the whole thing is getting blown out of all proportion.

First thing I thought of based on the title.

Still can't picture Jack as Mike...

    You are so contradictory.

It was only last week where you were saying all this yourself. It's quite clear what he is saying is the case, and you are all telling him to shut up now he has said it.

The new players will have figured out/been told the situation at the club by now anyway, it's not like this tweet will be a shock to them (if they can understand it).

I've also seen people say that you would rather keep him and let him go on a free than sell him, and now because he has tweeted something you want him all to go and **** off asap!

I agree. The way he is being slammed on here is a joke. He tweeted something, big deal. I'd be frustrated if my employers were running around telling porkies, trying to make me look bad and ungrateful. As I've always said I'll be equally happy either way, we either sell him and get a replacement or we keep him and lose him nothing. There is of course the 3rd option which is completely unpalatable where the club sells him and doesn't bother with a replacement. Even the most ardent Ashley supports must surely find that an unacceptable situation.
