were chatting on a thread again but ouch! that will hurt ! to come back on topic How much time do we give Dyche !? If you were a chairman and wanting to change managers then surely before the winter transfer window would make sense! IE let the new man ditch the dross and get his own people in!

IF i were to change Manager, which right now i wouldn't even contemplate, i agree that would be a sensible time...but i hope it doesn't happen.

That's a fair point, but I think Dickinson improves the squad. Yeates too: apart from his work rate yesterday was not in any way reflective of what he has done for us. Forsyth offers us something different to the tricky youngsters we have, and I think Dyche deserves criticism for not giving youngsters minutes out wide, but not for signing Craig in the first place.

The strikers have been disappointing, but we have to assume that the strikers we signed were the best strikers available on our budget. Iwelumo might yet come good, and if he does that'll be the best £50k we've spent in donkey's years.

I almost think we've got too many new players that I am sure mean well and will work hard but probably aren't going to improve us greatly.

Ofcourse we needed Dickinson and know the likes of Hogg and Forsyth can improve with more games (only 22 themselves)

Maybe more of the youngsters could be given a chance?

Was it my imagination or did Iwelumo seem quicker yesterday for the short time he was on?

Our results are so inconsistent! 2-0, 1-1, 0-1, 2-1, 0-4. Dyche needs to keep the consistency

How did Iwelumo look today? Sounded like the game was all Saints by the time he got on to be fair.

For the time he was on we had a bit more direction in attack , Didnt see long enough of him to make a judgement!

he's got a peculiar run...reminds me of Jordan Stewart, but maybe it's just the hair ;)...he's slow, but he's never on long enough to see whether he's now match fit, or was never good enough!
