    Ranger's worse in front of goal than Jermaine Beckford. Couldn't score in the Champ and can't now. Send him out on loan, see if he improves, if not, get rid.

    We have given him enough chances - he still turns up late for training, has a bad attitude, gets arrested. So get rid full stop

    He is out of contract at the end of this season. Think we will probably move him on in fairness

    He's still young at 24 though. I can see him signing on for another 4 or 5 years.

    Maybe, but if we want to become a better team we need to get rid of our deadwood and average players

    So no doubt he will stay then...

    I agree that we need to get rid of average players and deadwood. But Guthrie can be a solid squad player for a Europa League team. He can still improve and is already good enough to be starting for a team of our calibre.

    Gets caught on the ball too much for me. Everyone has their opinions but if I was manager, he would be getting released at the end of the season :)

    I think he does sometimes but that can be coached out of him. Can pick a pass better than anyone in our team, is solid in the tackle, has enough strength and movement about him. He is definitely one that splits opinion though!

    Definetly lol. I like his work rate and he seems a good pro - but, I think he hasn't turned out to be the new Rob Lee like Keegan said he was going to be :p haha

    Having looked up his goalscoring record he did better than I thought.

    However, you get my point. Ranger seems to be the only player who can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory consistently.

    Oh yes. Ranger misses when it's easier to score. If he could sort that out though he'd already be a cracking player.

    Which is why I say give him a few months in the Championship to prove himself, and if he fails, get rid.

    Guthrie is on the last yr of his contract and hasn't been offered an extension so there's your answer he'll be shipped out along with lover/smith and a host of young uns
