Yeah, one of those frustrating parts of racing. It was nice to see him travelling so well though after having a tough time of things this summer. Have to give Buick some credit on Ghostwriting, looked beat at half-way!
Little e/w dabble on the Bowen horse Forever Waining - think he may have needed the run last time out and should have come on for the run
Thought I'd got it there but didn't find much for pressure. Maybe not quite 100% match fit today, one to watch for next time
I really like Michael Bell's colt Alaskan Bullet in the next - lovely scopey individual who did it very nicely on debut despite drifting badly in the market. I think he could be going places
RV have to say Grandad's Horse did it very well in the end though I'm sure someone put that up somewhere but buggered if I can find it. Whoever it was well done
that was a belting ride and he beats my selection I hate that man now. Well done on the winner Toppy and Nass
RV, he's having a Richard Hills of a day! The amount of times Hills gets a good one beat and then goes and steals one on an outsider from the front is ridiculous!
I didn't back it as said earlier now was Naseem Hamid lose the next (think thats what its called - looks a knockout bet?)
Eureka is next for Richard Hannon, and the trainer wrote on his website: "We put Eureka back in the conditions race when it was re-opened, and, though he has to give weight to four other winners, it is a drop in class as he was only four lengths behind Harbour Watch in the G2 Richmond Stakes at Goodwood last time "I was initially disappointed with Eureka's last gallop as he worked with an unraced colt, who went equally well as him, but the colt in question was Ortac Rock, who then went and won at Ascot on Saturday, so obviously there was nothing wrong with Eureka.
FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR A BIT OF HUMOUR CAN ANYONE TELL ME IS THIS STORY TRUE i have been told that robbie fowler tried to register three horses with the names "ahorse", "anotherhorse", and "somehorse" - imagine the commentary "into the straight and some horse is leading by a length to another horse closely followed by a horse"
