Dexter I've napped up that Tony Martin horse in the 6.30 at Killarney- Victrix Gale. Won 1/4 over hurdles for Nicky Henderson but definitely bred for the bigger obstacles <ok> Chasing debut tonight, looks a decent e/w bet to nothing

<laugh> Victrix Gale never in it and tailed off. Expect her to be unplaced in 3 novice chases then bolt up in a mares handicap chase at 25/1 <laugh>

6/1 Senockian Storm looks rather tasty in the next at Wolves - she absolutely hosed up last time st Southwell and if she goes on the surface she can laugh the penalty off

    7.10 Ahlawy

best horse on ratings and I think this trip will suit him more than his main rivals. I can't believe he is 5/1 in this seller.

Nass - good call doubting the Worc 3.40.
I only caught the last 3 fences and Nearby seemed to jump out right and as you say doesn't look a natural at his fences, I won't be crossing him off my list just yet he could get plenty of valuable experience before tackling bigger prizes a more complete article in the Winter/Spring.
Get the feeling McCoy would have got any of the first 4 home !

I ended up (only) sticking a free £10 bet on Nearby and to my eyes he was very much 'schooled' round. APs horse's jumping won it for him but I'd expect vast improvement from Nearby who jumped his fences fine for his debut I thought. He'll win next time out

Beef - I need to find out why he was stuck in the race today, the horse should be a festival winner and is still improving so there have to be much bigger targets.
I can only assume Hobbs wants the horse to gain experience.
He who bets on NH in August needs his head testing

ps - glad you only wasted a tenner, I worked hard to make a nice few quid on Kent last night and threw it away today, still level for the week isn't a disaster !

All I can say is thank god I saw that I had a free tenner to claim as I'd have put more on than that otherwise <laugh> Another 6 weeks Grizzly and the big boys shall be starting to come out to play <party>

See what sort of icons you've been missing out on <laugh>

It was a good education for Nearby but to me he looked as if he needed the effort and he also looked a bit wayward with his jumping. If he gets to the same echelons over fences I would be pleasantly surprised. Winner got an AP on Albertas Run ride and the best horse didn't win the race because of that.

  19. Bloody Gary only gone and done the Placepot at Catterick again yesterday, two from two meetings didnt pay as much yesterday but a win is a win, added to that i picked up information from Paul Midgley in the parade ring and it romped in at 12/1 but was as high as 16/1 in places...........Happy days at Catterick all for a good cause yesterday my favourite charity the Army Benevolent Fund, hopefully there efforts were worthwhile yesterday:emoticon-0100-smile

Beef - that's a proper icon, but it took me a year to work out how to attach the Beebs !
