2.00 Leicester- Oscan 8/1 e.w- Looks a smart type on paper, Street Cry colt related to Mastery (St Leger winner in 2009) and is a half brother to Group One winner (Grand Criterium) Kirklees. Kirklees was beaten a head on debut before beating Pires with ease on second start, and fast tracked to Group Two on third start, so there's a chance Oscan will be quite forward. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He was fairly forward, Oscan! Really pleased with that at 8/1
Hello lads. Nothing for me today but well done those amongst the winners. Quick question...does anyone know if the colours carried by Cookieshake in the 2.40 are those that used to belong to Ravi Tikkoo? Maybe Bustino or Tam might know. GL all.
Beyond perplexed with that run as Oil Strike attempted to make all as he normally always comes from off the pace. Don't think the soft ground did him any favours but I can certainly see him doing most of his work at 7f+ after that. 2nd still a decent effort though and more to come for sure as the front 3 pulled well clear. Hope the handicapper doesn't do something stupid
I am just posting up Gabriels Lad in the 3.40 at Lingfield. This horse is a newcomer but has been backed as if something is expected first time up. I have just taken 4-1 best odds and placed it in a rev forcast with the favourite Sir Fredalot. I think its worth a look as this is from a stable that would not attract money for the sake of it as a big trainers horse would and the race is ordinairy.
Well done TopClass terriffic pick. Nass well done on the nap. I'm close to giving up - that's 4 of my 6 September naps that have finished 2nd. Maybe I'll start backing tote place
4.20 Sedgefield I think the first 2 in the market have this between them so done the reverse forecast
7 lbs penalty and the jockey sets him off like a scalded cat. Hope Callisto Moon hasn't paid the ultimate price for the jockey's over enthusiasm :-(
