Dejan expected a red, he looked very surprised & happy on seeing yellow. Me too.

Whoever said decisions even out over a Season may be right but we still have a large deficit to cover before we are back on an even keel, Dejans yellow is one off the tab.

I don't know if anyone said it yesterday but Dejan posted this on Twitter after the game...

"I am ok it was just a kick at the end. #COYR"

I have seen them given I have to admit. It was agreed by the commentators the reason he was not given a red was because of the heavy touch from the player fouled, which caused doubt as to whether it might have been a goal scoring opportunity. Have to say I agree with them.

Dejan expected a red, I expected a red the whole crowd expected a red. However when you watch the replay the guy is already commencing his dive before he gets to Dejan. so it could be argued that simulation has occurred before the 'foul'. That is unless we all agree with Nigel and Jay's assessment from the Villa game??

As for the schneiderlin one it was one foot, not high, got the ball.

Can I just say, well done Southampton. Good win. Nice one nil statistic.

I went to the game on Saturday with my son and brother and we had to sit in the Palace end. We did an excellent job of pretending to be palace fans by looking at each other and shaking our heads in bewilderment at Jay Rod's goal. The best bit was when Puncheon misplaced a pass that went to a Saints player and my brother stood up and shouted 'You are playing for us now Punch!' :) I thought the away fans did another fantastic job singing throughout and I have to give credit to the Palace fans who helped make it a good atmosphere. The Jason Puncheon 'he sh**s when he wants......' song was classic and we had to explain it to some puzzled Palace fans sat near us!!

I wonder if there are many teams' fans who would consider themselves to have had more good luck decisions than bad luck over the course of a season?
