LOL! A bit obvious but I suppose I set myself up for that retort! LOL!

Disappointing as last night was, we know they can do a lot better and I think there is a lot of inexperience of European games in the team and that does worry me but it's a learning game as well - lets just hope they learn quickly!

I was impressed by Ledley last night. He put in a good performance and covered a lot of ground. Don't think he made a bad tackle all game, I got slated to **** on 606 last year for saying he had a bit of Paul Lambert about him.

The more I see of Ledley, the more I'm sure he'll prove himself to be one of Lennon's most astute signings.

I tend to agree - I think if he stays injury-free and gets a run of games we will see the best of him (which I don't think we've quite seen yet).

Free transfer too & the fact he turned down the EPL to come here shows that the guy thinks with a footballing brain rather than cash & playing for some mid-table ****e in the EPL on double the money he gets here.

Spot on Brum. Shows the guy cares more about his actual career than his bank balance.

Not a good performance last night. Ki seemed too far forward. I thought Sammy put in a very good shift at least for the first hour. Can't be easy for the man as he is bound to hear all the groans, jeers and roars of disapproval and believe it or not these people call themselves Celtic fans.
Stokes spent far too long on the wing and I wondered at that, but then I think I remember he has been out on the wing in earlier games and moved inside and scored.
Sion certainly had an awfully packed defence, a lot of men back and I think we are bound to have more room next week. Wee Maloney could well be our match winner next week, if fit.

sadly - i follow this guy on twitter and its easy to see football is his life. And more to the point he loves the hoops and loves being a part of what that means - it goes a long way IMO

A good shift? He did a good impression of a statue for about 15 minutes of the first half <ok>

This is his 5th year here so its hardly like folk are getting on the back of a guy trying to settle into the team. He should have been sold last year when clubs were bidding £1.5m for him.

I'd prefer Murphy to start the next game, at least he has scored goals since joining.

I think Murphy gets more unfair stick than Samaras.

How many did Murphy get in the first few months of the season - he hardly played after that.

I agree. I dont really rate Murphy - but by the same token if he played as often as Samaras he woudl outscore that donkey 2 or 3 times over

I saw Murphy playing in the left of midfield during one of the pre-season games and he did quite well. Think he might even have scored. Probably against **** opposition mind.

We should really have better options than Murphy or Samaras though.
