I really hope that's something that we'll look back on as one ugly car rather than a trend for the season. Nasty!!!

everything about Caterham is ugly, the women, the pubs, everything. When I heard they were moving it to Oxfordshire I was happy, but they only meant the team, not the town.

edit: as to the pictures, it's really weird, the other day I came across this picture of a black horse that looked so arogant I wished I'd had photoshop so I could stick a Ferrari nose and rear spoiler on it, two days later......

here, someone else do it, I'm too lazy http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=f1...rt=16&ndsp=19&ved=1t:429,r:6,s:16&tx=70&ty=86

Where the hell on the car is that shot taken from? With the exhaust I'm guessing it must be from front to back.

Looks like a side pod to me, though it's presumably sat on a work top and not attached to the car.

The tubing is part of the crash structure I think, and its a front to back view of the sidepod with the rest of the back of the car missing ;)

yeah, if you look at the whole car it seems the shot is taken looking back down the side of the car from level with the front of the cockpit, with the extended side aerodynamics taken off, I think the tubing is more for support of the 'side wing'. as to the front nose, looks to me like they've taken a tip from nature there, I think it's designed to alter the airflow to give more DF on the rear wing whilst removing drag from the body of the car

This is probably the most attention we'll be giving to Caterham all season ;)

Smart move getting their car out first, even if everyone hates it (except me).

Following on from the prostitute correlation, I saw this photo on F1Technical:

If you look carefully (you may need to squint) you might be able to make out the cooling outlet at the back of the engine cover. This is clearly a highly advanced and very precise means of reusing the flow through the airbox redirected with pinpoint accuracy onto the beam wing. Quite ingenious, I'm sure you'll agree.

For all the stick Caterham are getting, I'm pretty sure they'll score a few points in the Championship this season.

I'm not familiar with Miggins' prostitutes (of course ;)) but Genji's picture shows a lot of effort (as opposed to subtlety) going into that flow-job.

Cars behind better be careful not to drive up that exhaust outlet.
