Think its more of a combination of the offside trap system where players don't fully understand it, can't execute it, and this goal doesn't mask the numerous chances Brighton have had thanks to the bad play by us.

 

I bring it up again. Anyone else get the feeling Graham Carrs talent spotting "abilities" have been a tad overrated. His so called gems have been ****e for the most part since their arrival

Touchy? Not trying to WUM just you cant really use the excuse that your missing first team players when the other team are playing a weakened team as well.

Think the way your league form is going, no FA Cup and getting our of Europa Cup ASAP is probably a blessing in disguise. Have to worry though that without 2 players in Ben Arfa and Cabaye your team seem to have fallen apart as an atacking unit?

 

Without Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Ba (being sold)....nobody is denying our second string is a load of ****. No point in trying to make the point yourself. Sorry but we watch this same **** every week and don't need you to 'enlighten' us to the fact that our reserves aren't good enough.

Our younger players should be busting their guts out to impressive. But they just didnt seem to care.

Sammy is no where near ready, Ranger should never be in our team ! Like to see Campbell given his chance ahead of this criminal !

Pardews is on thin ice. I still stick by him but he is testing my patience. Why play Tavernier out of position ? could have played ferguson at Left back and play Santon on favoured right back ?!

Constant long balls in driving me to a meltdown !!! I really worry for us !!!

 

I will never call for Pardew's head (at least not loudly), but he really is on thin ice you're right. Nothing is going right for us right now. tactics, defending, injuries... He has to be to blame for the gutless performances of some of those ****ers on that pitch today

 

For me it's not about the result, it's about the performance. We only had two players on the pitch who tried today, in Anita and Biggi.
Much will be said about Ameobi, but as Captain today he was suckered and let us down.
We have lost games recently, that because of the heart we showed, felt positive, today was just plain embarrassing, no passion, no desire, no pride, no commitment, and that is the worry for me, not the result or the fact we are out of the competition.
Most today do not deserve to wear the shirt.

 

Unfortunately for you guys, you played into Brighton's hands as they love a tussle and long balls. I guess you are light upfront and must be looking to bring someone in upfront. Thought Bigirimana looked ok but was disappointed with Sami Ameobi.

What I worry about is, this team is the strongest out of our fully fit team . Apart from marvo (I'm not sure what injuries Colo and cisse have. )

Pardew has to be under a lot of pressure now, slipping down the league and out the cup at first attempt.
His job will be safe though thanks to the morons that gave him that contract.
I am sure you will stay up but it is by no means a certainty
