Scott I have to say that this and all your other threads are always top notch and quality reading. Haven't posted much lately because of all the bitching going on, Dai I have to say I don't always agree with you but lately I think you've had some very undeserved stick. Yes you're a miserable bugger at times but aren't we all? Keep the faith I know you've got the club at heart. As for Bolton, well I'm going, in row S, hoping for a good game and going for a 2-0 win because I think we've got too much for them and that reserve keeper Bogdan is pants.
right back to the thread......i dont care who is selected for this match but they must change the way they approach the game because as we all know home teams have got us sussed and all they have to do is let us keep the ball in our own half until a mistake is made and it always is and score against the run of play. instead of keeping the ball in our own half entertaining the masses with the skill of our passing try and do it closer to the bolton goal where we have players who can take long range shots........lose again with 60+ possession and brendan should get some flack to bring him back down to earth as he has had to much praise for losing matches and quite frankly it dont wash...... play whoever he wants but improve on tactics in away games......
Look at the goal Graham scored against Barnsley, and his goal against Spurs, we need better supply and service to Graham, and I feel Dobbie sitting just behind will do that, that's how we got goals with Borrini up front, and just look at the Wembley game as an example of how effective Dobbie can be in that position!............... please log in to view this image
dobbie would be ideal against bolton coming off the bench, he tends to flag a bit when he starts a match and blackpool got the best out of him off the bench.....
i know what you mean but for some reason it has never worked like that, he has always been effective for us and blackpool coming off the bench......i hope he stays but can understand if he wants to move on ......
Dai: Why post insults on here? No need for it. DPJ: are you going to chastise him for 'personal insults' as you do me? I await with interest but won't hold my breath. Second thoughts, don't bother or we'll have another ruined thread again. Missing the game because I've got a wedding down at the Oxwich Bay. No doubt iPhones will be consulted frequently. Think we might get a result, but anything can happen.
Er...I did give my opinion on the game. Am I not allowed to do that now? Btw Scott, meant to say great thread again.
He is actually very very good, and is starting to prove himself as first choice. What do the base your opinion on? The Tim Howard goal? The fact that he only gets a chance is against Man Utd, Chelsea etc..?
Dilligaf: Recent games suggests Bogdan is in fact a very good keeper. Jaskaleinen is better imo but still think we can get a result, whatever the case. Off to that wedding soon but will keep an eye on the score. Good luck Swans!
