I think there is a difference in attitude to players that leave the club reluctantly to players that leave because they want more money. On the international Front Oxo would not have been worse off by staying at Saints would not have hindered his development at all by staying another year or two. I think that is why a lot of Saints are not so interested in Oxo's career but still are in Walcotts.

In the subject of the next England manager - here is my shortlist for the job:

    Harry Redknapp
    Roy Hodgson
    Steve Bruce
    Sam Allardyce

Are any of them good enough though?

I have a very strong feeling that the FA will once again offer very high wages and bring in Jose Mourinho.

I think WGS should be England manager. He is good at getting his team playing as a group, getting them fit, and bringing some passion from the side and from the supporters. And his interviews are always enjoyable.

    One problem - he's Scottish!

It's bad enough having a Swede or an Italian, imagine a Scott in charge - the wrath of both England and Scotland fans doesn't bare thinking about!
