Had anyone been crazy enough to place an ante-post on ATD for the BC Classic before today?

Flyingbolt......We are talking about a duel Champion stakes winner here, he beat Sariska easily enough in that race, who was a superior fillie to Midday. Midday is a very good fillie, and very admirable, but both at there best over 10f Twice Over wins every time. Twice Over being 6 now is probably not at his absolute peak, but he was still able to deal with Midday, and was well on top at the line.

Alot of people underestimate the difference between G1 fillie's races and G1 colt's races, there is a massive difference. Can you honestly tell me Midday could have stopped Twice Over in either of his Champion Stakes wins. If Sariska couldn't then Midday wouldn't have. As I told everyone before Henry Cecil should have run Miuday in the Yorkshire Oaks where she would of had a favourites chance, and I would have been on her side, but it takes a very very good fillie to beat the boys, and Midday unfortunately has proved a few pounds shy, in 2 rather average G1s against colts:biggrin:
