Not seen such a poll but then Not606 is only 8 months old (I think), perhaps you could create a poll in December to reflect the 1st year?
"Stopping up" of a public highway and disposing of the land on which it is situated is not quite the same as selling off land and/or buildings owned by a Local Authority. It would require the highway authority to assess the highway (road and footpaths) as being no longer required. That I think would be a major stumbling block Even with the reduced usage (but which obviously greatly increases on match days). If this could be overcome the major cost would be the removal of all public utility apparatus (gas, electric, water, telecoms etc) from the old highway x 10 the costs of which will be extremely high depending on how big/important any of those mains/services are x 100. Overall very unlikely to be feasible sorry ILWT OTBC
