I think if you saw him have a bad game, then fair enough. However using other peoples words to come to the conclusion that he didn't pull his weight is fairly harsh. We should all be aware of how extreme, and polarised, the views of the fans online are (Dai vs Danny Graham, for example), so I always try and source strong, 100% reliable opinions before going off on a rant. For example, I'd take BR's opinion all day... but anything from a journalist, or especially from some numpty on twatter, gets treated with a pinch of...nay, a shaker full of salt. Having said that, if he wasn't pulling his weight, fair play. I doubt it, that's all.
maybe the players care more than we think and some (like ash) had the sunderland game on the mind . easy for us to say you have to be 100% every game but my guess is some of the players minds are looking at the next home game. i was going for 3pts against wigan and a point off sunderland, maybe the boys were thinking the same , it all points to saturday for me . Im over the shrews game now, i was mad at the time and felt that we should have done much better , but maybe certain players are saving themselves for saturday, dont forget ,it is their career prospects they are playing for and 3 pts on saturday will mean more than the next round of the cup. i will go as far to say it will mean more than playing in the final of the cup !! it could kick start our whole season then we will all be thankful we lost to shrewsbury !!
