very good times for all saints fans at the moment. 3 of our next 4 PL games are at st marys too!. wahey...
Agree. Funnily enough despite Clyne being on top form I am more worried about the right side. Even against Newcastle, there was a lot of space for their winger to run into. I think it is because we have no natural wide right midfielder. Puncheon used to be excellent at covering for Clyne and as much as I like getting forward quickly, we need someone to cover that space in font of Clyne. Being picky though. Even I, as pessimistic as I am, can enjoy these heady days.

http://www.arsenalfantv.com/ For anyone who's interested what various intoxicated Gunners had to say about the match.
****ing hell, that's the worse thing I've ever seen with my eyes. They do that every match? Horrific... and very, very Arsenal.
In principle, yes. Mane did look good considering everything. Tadic is not a natural back-tracker. Koeman is always shouting at him from the touchline.
Every match. Its comedy gold. You will never see a set of fans crumble and waver more than this lot. That weird looking fella (ok i'll narrow it down, the one with the nose piercing and who you can almost smell through your monitor) is something of a minor celebrity around there for his attendance and post match interviews. Edit: Wrong quote at first sorry
Sadly, I expect if that was done at every Prem club these days, you'd get the same idiots, although Arsenal have often had more "special" fans than others. I can barely deal with reading the opinions of other fans on here, to have videos straight after games of gurning gobshites with accompanied dregs of society gurning in the background, would tip me over the edge.
Was a superb game – really proud of everyone, each of whom put a massive shift in. Last 15 were pretty nerve wracking, but was seriously impressed with a. Koeman chucking on Long instead of a defensive player when 2-1 up with not long to go, and b. our ability to play the game out, getting the ball out of defense and into the corners. I was right behind the goal we were attacking in second half, and oh my were our host of chances close – Long really should have connected with that cross with a few minutes to go. Everyone was playing as we know they can, but most impressive were for me Gardos, Targett, Tadic, and Mane (who obviously needs time to adjust to get some final output from his runs, but he definitely had the Arsenal RB running scared), none of whom I'd seen live before. Fonte is an awesome captain and organiser. I love Pelle, but thought he was wasteful tonight, and actually wasn’t winning too much in the air. His backheels, and link play were superlative, though. And the way half our team absolutely dwarfed the ref. Comedy of the night had to go to the way all our amazing passing moves constantly broke down when the ball got to Victor at the edge of the final third, where he would inevitably fall on his arse trying to flick a ball on. Our fans were great too… Duuuuuuusan Tadic! I sense Liverpool are going to come our way at some point in this draw.
Mane will cause problems for our opponents this season. I watched a few minutes highlights of the game and, apart from the pen, he also drew 2 free kicks. He will certainly panic a few defenders.
Talking about fans... Was disappointed to hear the Southampton fans boo chambers when he was on the ball yesterday. From the comments on here it seemed like you lot where happy for him, or at the very least ok with the way he left. Was surprised by the booing.
