No way Kimi will go back to McLaren they blew their chance to sign him back in 2009 when they only chose to offer a one year contract to him and did not take him seriously

Also Kimi did not like the number of days that he would have to potentially spend at McLaren doing sponsorship commitments and I do not think that the team have changed their policy on sponsors seeing as it is one of the key issues for Hamilton and his management during current negotiations

 

I said a few weeks ago Alguersuari would join FI. I stand by that prediction.

In contrast to last year when Sauber were I think the first team to announce their driver line-up for the following season, this year they are in "no hurry" to decide their line-up.

Rather implies that they are considering getting rid of Kobayashi and/or expect Perez to leave.

 

Possibly all drivers are waiting to ride the merry go round but Michael shumacher is still going around and nobody knows when he will get off.

 

Epic silly season 2012/13!

Like a time bomb, we can all hear the ticking but we don't know when it's going off or how much damage it will cause. Let's hope it doesn't turn out to be a damp squib.

As soon as we get one confirmed move I imagine it will all start coming out. Come on someone, make an announcement, get the ball rolling.

Raikkonen's option with Lotus apparently expires at the end of September. I hope Mercedes make their announcement quickly so McLaren can respond before Raikkonen takes up his Lotus option. I'd love to see him back at McLaren, and if Raikkonen accepts what Hamilton is refusing, I wouldn't put it past Ron to sign Raikkonen and leave Hamilton without a drive.
