Seriously though, wtf are Arsenal doing, completely lateral move with zero ambition!!
When you have managers out there jobless with the pedigree of Ancelotti and Allegri and they are going for a complete unproven number 2.

Chelsea appointed Lampard, but we had a transfer ban, and at least Frank had had a decent season with Derby, getting them to an inch away from promotion to the PL.
This is ****ing nuts!

Mourinho = The Special One

Klopp = The Normal One

Lampard = The Prodigal One

How is this move going to resolve the ill discipline at the club? The players will simply keep on taking the piss.

One suspects that there are greater problems at Arsenal than what we can see.

Arsenal Fan TV is going to be even more entertaining than usual.

 

If they wanted an ex-Arsenal player who was young and had potential, then why didn't they go for van Bronckhurst?
Won two cups and the league with Feyenoord, then left at the end of last season when his contract was up.

 

It’s as though they want Pep-style footy, and think they can deliver it by bringing in Pep’s monkey (as opposed to the organ grinder).

They don’t seem to appreciate just how ****e their defence is!

The last thing Arsenal need right now is an unproven manager who has never been a number one, they need to take a leaf out of Spurs' book, and bring in a proven name who can steady the ship and at least get them in a position where it looks like they may compete again. THEN the next phase is to bring in a younger manager (preferably with more than ZERO experience) to start a more long term project.

They have just swapped one unproven guy with another, batshit mental!
