Jeremy Wilson‏@JWTelegraph Jack Wilshere out for three weeks. Misses munich, swansea and england qualifiers
Rosicky to the rescue. Only thing i'm worried about is his lack of game time, but he should do the bizo for us. No idea why he hasn't been playing much but a midfield of Arteta, Cazorla and Rosicky is quality enough to create enough for our front line.
All we know is he picked up a knock on Saturday. The details so far have been completely fabricated by the press. Hopefully it's nothing major.
Either way it's time for others to stand up and be counted. We have Rosicky, Ramsey and Diaby who can all fill this role. Wilshere's been played in almost every game this season, it was inevitable that he was going to miss a few games.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21753720 Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been ruled out for three weeks with an ankle injury and will miss England's World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro this month. The injury also rules the 21-year-old out of Arsenal's Champions League tie against Bayern Munich on Wednesday. The Premier League side trail the Germans 3-1 from the first leg. Wilshere picked up the problem in the Gunners' 2-1 defeat by Tottenham on 3 March. News now confirmed. Time for Rosicky to come in to the rescue....
From BBC Sport's John Southall, at an Arsenal press conference this morning: "Jack Wilshere has been ruled out for three weeks with an ankle injury, meaning he'll miss Arsenal's Champions League tie against Bayern Munich tomorrow, and England's World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro later this month."
We will see what the team is made of without the fight and drive of Wilshere for a few games. I have faith that Rosicky will do a top job as he was one of our main players last season. But when you're in a pressure situation, most needing results, it can be very testing for a squad. If you have any weaknesses in your starting 11 or bench, then they become even more highlighted.
Thatll be the stamp on his ankle that should have been a red card and left him limping. It would be nice to think that refs will start to think that as we now have a few England players that they need to start protecting our players a bit like they do for Man U. Not for our sake but for England.
Thank **** for the international break. Cause he only misses one important game for us which is Swansea away.
This might be a blessing in disguise for Wilshere. He has played non stop football since being out for nearly 18 months and he was always going to need a break at some point.
