I think Utd fans will pay £5 less than the equivalent Arsenal fan for the same ticket - the away supporters generally don't get to sit in the centre of the north or south stand where the tickets are £49. We have to keep them away from the prawn sandwiches...

I didn't realise Cat A matches were only the minority. That makes the ticket prices a little less outrageous, but the season tickets are still steep at twice the price!

IIRC Queensland Road was originally a mix of affordable housing, offices, commercial space, and facilities for Arsenal. The aim was that the affordable housing would break even, and the offices and shops would make enough money to cover the new facilities (mostly gym and parking). But Islington scaled the development down, so I'm not sure how the financial are going to work out now.

Manchester United and Arsenal will pay the same price for tickets.Whilst i agree with you that our prices do appear steep as opposed to other club,something that is not taken into account is the quality of the seat e.g. Blackpool fans would have paid £33 for a ticket at the Emirates but when i go to Bloomfield Road in April i will have to pay £39 for a seat with a restricted view <grr>

That is true, although weren't the prices the same at Highbury? Tho' I suppose Highbury didn't have any corner stands, so you would get a decent view wherever you were, as long as you weren't jammed under one of the pillars supporting the Clock End...

There were also supporting pillars in the East and West stands.On the subject of season ticket prices,season tickets at the Emirates also include admission for cup matches.Are Man Utd still forcing season ticket holders to buy tickets for cup matches even if they choose not to attend ?
