We've got a lot of fans refusing to attend home games at the moment, the combination of our owner treating us like **** and the £50 ticket prices make it an understandable decision. Word is we've only 3,800 season tickets so far for next season, less than a quarter of last seasons sales. We lost 3,000 season ticket holders last season as a consequence of the owners actions, most of those tickets were taken up by new season ticket holders, but they'll be gone if relegation is confirmed on Sunday. I don't think our owner has the slightest comprehension of what's actually going on.
... you have my sympathy ... a stark contrast with our owners (touch wood) who have been a breath of fresh air ... undoubtedly the best in my lifetime ... not only saved the club financially but have not sought the 'limelight' in any way ... remarkably humble, incredibly supportive ... the club is in the best position it has ever been (in my lifetime certainly - but arguably since its' first creation) and if we added another 10-15K seats right now I'm sure that we would fill them quite easily ...
Hull owners is a tosspot. No other word for it but he has been let down by the club aswell. He invests £40M and they shouldn't be getting relegated One big sorry mess. There a cross over of QPR and Newcastle Newcastle's mess with QPR's attitude of thinking there really good
Saw the £50 price tag on your website, and was a little surprised at the price. Remember when Allam came in and he was lauded as a local businessman stepping up and had only the clubs interest at heart. Amazing how things change. Hopefully our guys will stay true to us.
More to the point Fettis, which is better of the two? Of our first team defenders combined, I'd say: Huth > Dawson > Wasa > Chester > Morgan. Upson, if he wasn't so injury prone, would be between Dawson and Wasa.
He played well in the handful of games he managed to get under his belt and he was rightly picked ahead of Wasa. However, he can't stay fit, which makes him about as useful as Hull's drug awareness policy. You don't really need "legs" when playing as part of a lumbering back three!
If you could merge them you would have a world class defender , Dawson probably shades it for defending and his ability to pass a ball, needs a speedy defender to play along side him though
Dawson's about to win our player of the season vote, which is based on MotM performances throughout the season.
Well its hardly going to go to a forward is it OLM? We have one ex forest defender - having another would break my heart. He supports that hell hole of a club as well. Definte no no for me. Keep him, and if you are relegated he will get one game at his 'stadium' of choice next season.
Actually, I think Jelavic would have won if he hadn't been injured for most of the second half of the season, we generally only win when he's playing.
I'd take either Dawson or Chester tbh, both are prem quality, like ive said before, Hulls defence isn't their problem.
Kasper's save vs Burnley came in third in MOTD's save of the season. Was beaten by two De Gea saves (of course!).
What about Jelavic for us?? Didn't we bid for him a couple of seasons ago?? Can't remember if he turned us down for Hull or Everton
Neither, he was at Rangers at the time and Sven bid £6.5M he turned us down to stay at Rangers and then signed for Everton 6 months later
