Makes it even more galling, that they lost again to today Cardiff... I make that about a 5game losing streak and they come to us and we did not show up.. There is always that old Wenger Arsenal lurking in the background!

They've still gotten great results against the other top sides. Makes it all the more mystifying why they can't win against anyone else. Attitude problems perhaps?

Disagree, as when they played us their season was already beginning to unravel, they were already on a 3game losing streak, they played us we played like clowns who had never seen each other, now they have lost 2 more since us. So their results came against top sides much earlier in the season!

I agree that we put in a very poor performance against them given their run of form in stark contrast to the form we were in.

But in that losing streak they had before coming to The Emirates, they were mightily unlucky to lose against Spurs. They had a goal wrongly chalked off for being offside which would have brought them back to 3-3. You cannot deny they've been competitive against the big sides.

I keep repeating this, but they've taken points against Man City and Man United; something which we didn't do at all last season and haven't done it this season (yet) either.

Maybe their players raise their game against the top 6 clubs because their players are trying to put themselves in the shop window? I'm not sure what the reason is, but they are certainly better than some posters on here think they are.

I guess we have to agree to disagree on this one.

I see that Wolves came from behind to beat Chelsea today.

You guys can call them **** if you want, but the facts are, they've given every top 6 side they've played so far a run for their money.

    That's an indisputable fact.

    Manchester United 1-1 Wolves
    Wolves 1-1 Manchester City
Wolves 2-3 Spurs (a Wolves goal wrongly ruled out for offside prevented a draw here)
    Arsenal 1-1 Wolves
    Wolves 2-1 Chelsea

They clearly don't have any fear of the big boys.

It looks like their style suits the big boys and they struggle with teams lower in the league.
