no they arent, if they win 2moro, we would need at point at your place to be safe on sunday, sunderland fan in disguise btw
I've been liking Sunderland ever since Dicanio has signed up for them, I like his passion and commitment,
Judging by the radio today and people at work, a lot of neutrals seem to think Wigan are going to beat us
I'd say we have as much chance as we did against City on Saturday, and I don't really believe that lightning will strike twice. Particularly when our lot played a couple days ago in probably the most emotionally draining game of their lives. Incidentally due to a cock up I'm going to have to drive down. I understand its impossible to park anywhere near the stadium - some local knowledge please - where is good to park if I'm going to meet some people at Moorgate before the game?
So you'll still be a Mackem for a week after the end of the season? It'll be a relief for you to support a team with real passion for a while
So, how is everyone feeling ahead of this game? I am a nervous-wreck to be honest, we have so much to lose and it's just painful that once again, it has to come down to this. If we sorted our defence out a lot earlier, we would have already secured CL football, and could even gone for second place. It's a massive shame that it took that Spurs defeat to wake the manager up regarding how pathetic our defence was.
We basically handed the spuds that game with some truly atrocious defending and we should have beaten Utd at home to, but for a moment of madness from Sagna. So by rights we should already have qualified for the CL, but this is what it comes down to. As Wenger said, we have to finish the job off now
Spurs will say the same things about their pathetic home loses to Fulham and Wigan. They really shouldnt be in this position after they beat us at WHL
tbh it wouldnt surprise me if they did they have big wins at Arsenal at key points of the season in the past it all comes down to Arsenal tho if they show up you should win if not Wigan will punish you. if there is a bad omen going into this its that FA Cup winner have never gotten relegated the season they won it and Wigan need at the very least a draw tonight to stand any chance.
