if they gave points for passing the ball , we would be top of the league already . I take just one example . Ozil , cost , what , s**t loads of money ...... The ball falls to him , smack bang in the centre , edge of the box with the ball and space.......... what does he do............ thats right , passes it to the right wing . FOUR strides and hes on the penalty spot and putting his laces thru it , but no.......... just another pass will do.........
I thought Chambers did really well and Oxo should start based on that performance. Wilshere was good again, but we're still missing that finishing touch up front. Some people slate Giroud, but I think when he and Walcott are back we'll really see some direct attacking play.
are you for real ? Corners ? we havent taken a good corner for 2 seasons , and you are STILL expecting something from them.
Dropping points today all but seals the deal that we are not title contenders, , Chelski will put the nail in the coffin next week. It's another exciting race for 3rd and 4th, lol how exciting for a supposed 'elite' club on the up. This club is a ****ing joke, all talk, and nothing. We're worse than we were last season, anyways this is Arsenal, we've gotten used to such mediocrity.
Every single time Chamberlain puts in a good performance Wenger drops him, no doubt that will continue
I've never predicted we'd win the title but when you spend £35m and £42m on two players, shouldn't you be realistically expecting to challenge? I haven't even mentioned the pretty hefty fees spent on Welbeck and Chambers (only 5 years ago those fees would've been huge for us). We are clearly under-achieving.
I'd rather we played short corners and then laid the ball off to somebody dropping back to the edge of the box to have a shot. The aimless ball across the heads of just about everybody are ineffective at best and could actually leave us open to the counter if the oppo get the ball.
I disagree , these players are PROVEN to be of sufficient quality . These stupid slow , tippy tappy tactics are the problem . It aint the orchestra . Its the conductor .
Anyway, as much as it pains me to praise the spuds, you have to hand it to their back four today, they kept us at bay. In particular Kaboul probably saved 2-3 clear cut chances.
I said it a few weeks before, and will repeat it, the FA Cup win seems to have been a curse in disguise, Wenger hasn't done anything to improve us, same old problems remain, he clearly is NOT the man to take us to the top, as in winning the league or winning in Europe. We are now worse than we were last season so far.
bollox , thats some serious back pedalling. i aint about to praise Kaboul as some top defender . We made him look good. They were cr@p . We were cr@pper. With their squad v Ours , that should have been a walkover .
