Some Spurs fans I remember came on here saying Arsenal have had an easy fixture list (we've now played everybody and still top so that argument goes into their asses) but anyway, on that point, to Spurs fans, was us kicking your asses and making you look average counted as one of those 'easy' fixtures? ;-). Not to mention we did it without Giroud, Ramsey, and Ozil, are 3 main attacking players so far this season....Easy easy easy.
anyone can beat spurs ,we need to move up a level and beat City and the trafford scum , cant beliiiiiiiiiiiiieve we lost there ! Even Spurs beat them but we went there so negative we lost to a crap set piece goal. When the manure come to us we must HOOOOMILIATE them . COYG!
Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood: "I am disappointed with the result, but we didn't disgrace ourselves. "We showed we belong on the same field and in the same company as Arsenal. "It has been six games in 17 days for us and we probably have the smallest squad in the league with the amount of injuries we have had. "We were fatigued. A little bit of sharpness was missing but it could have gone either way. "They showed great character and I am proud of them." Bless him ...does he think the spuds will BUY this stuff ? Ill give him till summer , then it will be ......." next manager please ! "
Arsenal fan Tim Sherwood wants spurs to 'Play the Tottenham way' instead of employing AVB's negative tactics. If that means trying to play fancy stuff on the half way line and gifting the opposition soft goals, then bring it on
He's right, it could have either been a beating or a total drubbing. Spuds were fortunate we didn't put 5 past them, again
I went yesterday and couldn't believe the lack of passion Tottenham showed, it felt less like a NL Derby that any I've every been to. I thought Tottenham showed no imagination or desire at any stage, I can understand the 'sit back' approach at the start and whilst the game was 0-0 but at 1-0, and 2-0 nothing changed. To be honest, I didn't even think we were that great but we didn't need to be. The fans pelting Theo and the medical staff were a disgrace, seriously low, genuine Tottenham fans should be ashamed of their behaviour. And to those laying into Rose for the error, yes it was poor but I lost count the number of times Walker wandered out of position, Cazorla's goal was a result of him being AWOL (though I thought Gnabry did well) I can't help thinking that if he's our right back in Brazil we're in trouble...
Tim Sherwood is way to old school to take that team forward. I think they would have been better keeping AVB in the long term. 4-4-2 Away from home against arguably the best midfield in the league?..Really. It was obvious they were going to get over-run.
Fan video from yesterday. Including Spurs fans being Dicks both inside and outside of the stadium. Classic opening line in the video though
i hear that the scum fans were throwing whats left of the Bale money at Theo ! what a waste of £110million - they spent it all like chavvy lottery winners - they are a mediocre team at best. lets keep Agent Tim at the helm to keep them in their mid table place !
You would have thought they would want to hang onto their money seeing as they threw so much away in the summer
Gentleman , I would expect men of intelligence to be gracious in their fully deserved victory. Well done, even that it spoiled my weekend , lets walk in the valley of the Olive tree with our heads held high.
