You're just repeating what you said in the previous post. And most of what you said isn't true. Again. I've got nothing to address here. Your definition of ambition is completely different to mine. Your definition of the best interests of the club are also different to mine. If you're content with the low quality and low standards that we currently have, then that's up to you.

But if there's anyone that can actually provide a valid defence of Wenger staying on after the season has ended, I'm open to other views. I'm yet to see a valid reason for him staying on. Saying "we might be worse without him" doesn't count.

And again you're making assumptions that are leading you to making an irrelevant argument.

Your points are all a bit contradictory though as insisting you do care about finishing higher than 4th and winning the big trophies jars with your opinion that you don't mind if Wenger stays or goes.

    Main assumption:
Wenger is near enough proven to not be good enough nowadays to win the big trophies... because he hasn't. Including this season where all he appears to have to do is finish above Leicester and Spurs and it looks like he won't. Two teams admittedly having great seasons, but let's face it not particularly amazing football teams in the grand scheme of the history of football. So it's almost as close to a fact as you can get that Wenger is not good enough to win the league or CL.

    PISKIE's opinion 1:
You (apparently) have high expectations and want us to win the league or champions league (we'll take your word for it for now).

    PISKIE's opinion 2:
You don't think Wenger necessarily needs to be replaced.

I just don't see how opinion 1 and 2 fit with that main assumption as they contradict each other. Unless of course you don't agree with the main assumption and that you still think Wenger is good enough to win the CL and/or league. In which case, I'll repeat my earlier post and just say... you're a maniac. If you agree with the main assumption then your two opinions stated above are contradictory.

It would be like me insisting that I had very high expectations of my child getting top grades at school, but also insisting that him being taught by a chimpanzee was fine by me. I could say that I had expectations, but if i actually let that happen and was happy with the chimp teacher then it would be clear to anyone that I didn't.

EDIT ... PS... this is an assumption but I think the main reason your Wenger-defending opinion cause vitriolic replies from a lot of Arsenal fans on here up is not because they know or care about your opinion personally... it's because your opinion seems to mirror that of what our mediocrity-excusing board members presumably have and why they constantly reward Wenger with lucrative contracts for achieving very little.

    Nail on the head.
The only reason that Wenger should not be replaced is if you believe he can lead you to glory.
If you believe he can, then you are a ****ing fruitloop, because the last 3 seasons especially have proven beyond all doubt that that is impossible.
in 13/14 when it was a three way title race between City, Liverpool and Chelsea, where the **** were Arsenal? City had a great squad but had (and still have) a bang average manager. Liverpool were having a flash in the pan season based on two players dragging the rest of the dead wood above their station (Suarez and Sturridge) and Chelsea were in transition, new manager, no real goalscorer (We had Torres up front ffs).
Neither of those 3 teams were particularly impressive all season, you could argue that Liverpools form surprised some people, but they were still leaking goals like a sieve (think they conceded 52 goals that season). Yet Arsenal, who were now debt free and had signed a world class player in Ozil, were nowhere to be seen.

Last season, again, two way race between City and Chelsea. Chelsea had made good signings and had improved, our early season form was fantastic, but we took a dip after January and had more than our fair share of dodgy results and we looked even better than we were because of City's ****ty inconsistency, and still Bang Average manager.
Again, Where were Arsenal, they had even managed to bag World class Winger Alexei Sanchez to improve their team and nothing, not a sniff of a challenge.

This season, Chelsea meltdown, United stuck with dull LvG's ****ty tactics, Liverpool mired in mediocrity, City again inconsistent as ****, Arsenal managed to sign a world class Goal keeper (some would argue one of the top 5 keepers on the planet) to strengthen their team, and where the **** are they? Sitting in 3rd (again) with Leicester and ****ing Spurs ahead of them. Leicester FFS!!! What is it gonna take for some people to wake up and smell the coffee, this guy doesn't have the minerals to push you to where you can be!
You have the stadium, the fanbase, the income, the prestigious name, and what does he serve up? A mouthful of Greek Salad!

Whether you think that Cini has an ultra negative view on Arsenal or whether you don't, he's hit the nail on the head here.

The problem with morons like your good self is that you think everything is about you and if anyone dares disagree, god help them.

You doomers never have a good word for Wenger whatever we do on the pitch. He is blamed for poor play, but never praised for good play. You can't have t both ways you dumbass.

    ****er!

    That was about you :)

Yet again, you have failed to provide any insight as to why Wenger should stay on. I don't know why I gave you the benefit of the doubt. To say I have never had a good word to say about Wenger is also wrong, but he hasn't warranted any good things to be said about him recently. I praised him after the wins against City, Bayern Munich and Olympiakos away - so to say I never praise for what he does right is, as usual, utter twaddle.

But yeah, you just carry on being wrong about everything. Just like your politics, your football views are terrible.

My personal opinion is that Cini just spouts a load of BS most of the time, and the rest argues for the sake of it! <laugh>

Ad hominems and still for the third time failing to provide any reason why AW should stay on. You have been proven wrong time and time again, so you resort to petulant insults.

Well done for not understanding how to use a forum. <ok>

You are a tiring hypocritical plank with the comprehension of a limp dick. AW does need to be replaced and moved upstairs. However, colostomy bagged ****s like you crying out the same old dogma over and over make me want to puke.

Your wet *****loid political views just add to my intense dislike of you.
