    Thanks goonercymraeg, by Modern Welsh I meant the Welsh of William Morgan and later.
    Correct me if I am wrong but I thought that the earlier Welsh, certainly pre-Gwilym Welsh was a bit different.

    As with all languages Welsh has had to a adabt to modern times.As there is no Welsh word for some things a word based on the English original is used e.g Ambiwlans for Ambulance,teledu for television,bws for bus.You also have to remember Welsh has it's own alphabet so some English letters are not used

    Shame for Podolski, but last night the front six looked more fluid than they've looked in months. Would like that to continue v Chelsea.
