Good luck Arsenal, never been to the Emirates but always enjoyed visiting Higbury and will always remember our 3-2 win over you in the final game at The Dell, hoping for a decent game tomorrow, just go easy on us! Good luck for the rest of the season.
Sadly I did not get a ticket for this one, but I am hoping there will be other opportunities to visit! Hopefully see you at St. Mary's.
Rumoured team: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen (c), Gibbs, Arteta, Coquelin, Cazorla, Gervinho, Podolski, Chamberlain. please log in to view this image
Dont think we should have dropped Giroud this is definitely a game where he could get goal(s) in. Rest of the team is cool
Yo, looking forward to this one, hopefully will be some decent live feeds. If I was Arsenal I would let Saints go 2-1 up midway through the second half...yes that will definitely work. Anyway good luck.
By the sounds of it, we're actually resting Giroud for the montpellier game on tuesday. He'll probably come on as a sub.
Confirmed team Arsenal: Szczesny, Jenks, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Coquelin, Arteta, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Podolski Substitutes: Koscielny, Santos, Giroud, Walcott, Ramsey, Arshavin, Mannone
Southampton: K. Davis, Clyne, Fonte, Hooiveld, Fox, Ward-Prowse, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Puncheon, Lambert, Lallana
Same here. Ox has been pretty poor this month so far. Giroud would have given Soton's CB's issues, but obviously Le Boss has prioritised Montpellier on tuesday.
Soton's team looks pretty defensive. They're putting 5 in midfield, looks like we're facing a similar situation to the Sunderland game.
