I heard that it won't stop bleeding and the blood rule states that an athlete that receives an open wound, is bleeding, or who has blood on them or their clothes, must immediately leave the playing area to receive medical attention.
Sounds like Sims won't be involved. One player Puel indicated is likely to be given a rest is 19-year-old winger Josh Sims, who made a spectacular debut in Sunday's victory. "We will see. I think for Josh it's important now he stays quiet and can recover, not just physically but also mentally," he said. "It's important he stays with a good spirit and good attitude. His work has just begun, it is not finished and it is important to keep him with a good attitude for the future."
Apparently it keeps starting again, has done a certain amount of training with cotton wool up there...
I actually think this is sensible management. I would love to see him starting again, but after seeing how Hesketh was the match after his debut, I think it's important to protect him. He'll have plenty more opportunities in the next few weeks, no doubt.
Don' think it says that does it? More that we've lost our last 7 qf's in this competition. Time for that to change I think Really looking forward to this one... and the ground too.
I've actually sat next to Tom for a few games. I think he must have been sat there muttering under his breath as I slaughtered the officials.
