Indeed. Forget about their 2nd team, in the League Cup Arsenal usually play their 3rd team. If we had to get a big team, then in my book Arsenal were absolutely the one to get. OK, they'll probably go slightly stronger, but I doubt too much. I think they've got Bellerin, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Cazorla, Lucas, and Welbeck injured (actually, Mertesacker might be fit again now - but in many ways, I'd be quite glad if he makes his first appearance of the season on Wednesday!)
Imagine a two-leg semi-final against West Ham or Man Utd. Who's telling me they wouldn't get excited for that?! (Of course I'd prefer Hull or Leeds though) Seriously, forget the league this season, we can go back to that next year when Puel has fine-tuned his team and we have no Europa (unless we win a cup, in which case, wahoo!).
Should be a good one this, been to the Emirates last two years: 1-2 League Cup (Clyne Screamer) and 0-0 (Forster unbeatable). Had to go upper tier this year as I missed out on the £10 ticket club, anyone else in upper?
What block you fats, trying to anticipate how many of us are up there, it's a weird arrangement putting some up there because there are two tiers in between the two sets of out fans haha.
True dat but 10th is a great achievement for a 'smaller' club while in Europa and we are still well in the fight for 8th which is pretty damn good in a transitional season
The draw for the Semi-Final stage of the EFL Cup will be made on Wednesday 30th November 2016. It will be shown live on Sky Sports following the conclusion of the live Quarter-Final tie between Manchester United and West Ham United, which kicks off at 8pm. Semi-Final first legs are due to be played the week commencing 9th January 2017, with the second legs then taking place during the week commencing 23rd January 2017.
Tadic's nose must be causing him some trouble considering he played on after breaking it in the first place
