http://www.fullmatchesandshows.com/2016/11/30/arsenal-vs-southampton-highlights-full-match-3/ The site does highlights of pretty much every game and puts them up really quickly, gives full game, each half, highlights and motd coverage. Always the first place I check if I've missed a game
Just got home. Get in!!!!!!!!!!!! I was right at the back in the upper tier. What a view! Great performance. I was particularly impressed with the fringe players tonight: Reed, Maya, Clasie but in particular Long. He was superb. I was gutted when he didn't score that chance. Oh and Sims looks class already.
Yes indeed. There were a couple of mouth-watering moments from Sophie-Ann. I think Steve Davis is learning to be a bit cheekier too at this stage in his career. Couple of flicked back-heels while running with the ball. One to Josh Sims was poetry in motion.
A few of the moves down the wings, particularly on the right I think, were really good to watch. Some real skill, good touches, flicks and control of the ball at feet. Boufal or however it is spelt showed some really good moments. I'm pretty sure it was him who when surrounded by 3-5 players kept the ball, twisted and turned and then created a chance down the wing. In the middle I think your guys realised it wasn't worth losing the defensive shape and discipline to fight the midfield battle and instead focused on closing the space, releasing counter attacks and when on the offensive take advantage of the wings as we had young inexperienced wingers who maybe didn't help as much as they should have with defending in the wide areas. Even though the general game plan seemed to be to get men behind the ball, stay organised and hit us on the counter (good game plan given we had possession players but no real cutting edge), when you guys went forward you produced some really good football
Yeah they are usually really quick. Normally if I've watched a game it's half an hour to an hour of discussion before I check for highlights so they are definitely up and if I've missed the game I think only once or twice have they not already had them up and that's when I'm literally checking straight after the game. I used to spend ages trying to find decent highlights on YouTube (which is terrible for highlights) or wait for Sky go highlights which sometimes take ages before I realised that site uploads them so quickly and only has one short advert.
Great game of footy! bloody great win for Saints with Arsenal not lying down for us. The team were outstanding across the park, nobody let the standard slip. I realise we are perhaps not flying as high as we have past seasons but I am enjoying Puel's reign more that Poch and Koeman. He is managing to generally get the best out of everyone and I am very much enjoying seeing the academy boys. Reed, McQueen and Sims playing in a game against one of the big boys and securing a win. Good on the whole club.
It's a pity we got each other in the Semis we're the 2 strongest teams left. Going to be tough to get to the final and I can't see Hull getting through although I hope they do. One thing though if and I mean if you get through you better beat the Mancs in the final!
Much more worried by your lot these days than Utd. Once Van Dijk puts Ibrahimovic in his pocket, there's very little to worry about. It's gonna be very tough to get the advantage over you though, especially over two legs. But an injury here, a red card there, and anything's possible. On our day we can beat anyone. We just need to have two of those days in a row against you.
Ox left us too early (as we all knew at the time) but the lure of Arsenal and plenty of cash was too pursuasive. He should have stayed with us getting regular game time for at least 2 more seasons and then moved on. He had the world at his feet and chose the wrong option for his own development. Looks to be injury prone now as well. Chambers is a decent player but don't think he'll ever be top 4
We know you'll be physical and organised but still carry a threat. It's not park the bus and hope with you lot there is a plan. Well need to keep our heads and be patient.
