HT. 5-0. 5 different scorers too . What a half. I don't actually think Lens have even played that badly (as crazy as that sounds), they've played some good football and looked threatening on occasion, but we were utterly ruthless and they couldn't handle our movement, speed or one-touch play when attacking. I am surprised at how many bodies they've thrown forward though because I expected them to defend a lot deeper and with less space in the middle of the pitch. They've given us so much freedom to play our game. This also shows why teams are defending so deep against us in the league - because we are capable of blowing teams away in tantalising fashion. Let's sub off the likes of Saka, Martinelli etc at HT because the game is effectively a formality at this point.

FT. 6-0. Dominant, ruthless performance in a game we needed to win to secure top spot of our group with a game to spare. We are through to the Last 16. We won this well and won it in style. Everyone was pretty much faultless tonight. A supreme display. Top stuff .
