Yeah we had a poor game last night and the criticism is fair enough. That said, but for donnaruma, we could have won that game and everybody would be saying we’re odds on to win it

Lee judges just needs to chill a bit otherwise his heart is going to explode

He's only currently at 5-6 years without a trophy, but I understand what he's going through 10 fold. I think he knows the years will soon become decades.

If you'd told a Newcastle fan in 1955 when they lifted a 6th FA Cup and the 3rd of them in that decade, that they'd not win anything for another 70 years, they'd have laughed.

Newcastle faced Liverpool in 1974 and at that time Newcastle had won more trophies than them, and look what a good 50 years can do.. I think judges knows tbh.. Years become decades and other clubs keep collecting. The close calls are very significant and it becomes contagious.

It is what it is. Fine margins in football, but you get nothing for coming 2nd

I’m happy with where my club are under Arteta, when you look at what he inherited, we’re leaps and bounds ahead of that

he needs to take the next step and win something, but those who are panicking are just flapping really.

In my experience fanbases tend to assume things will improve and they'll one day get better. The problem is that this is more prevalent when sides are close to winning things and unfortunately the majority of times things get worse. It's just harder to go fwd than backwards.

If Arsenal don't do well next season the entire fanbase will implode. You've had a taste of that nectar, and if you start seeing that moving further away? Or another club tucking in? Oh boy that's when the trouble starts.

Like I said, some folk need to chill. Arsenal have the potential to win things. But we’re not there yet.

I’m happy with where we are, if we start regressing I’ll be upset. But I don’t see that right now.

This summer is crucial mind. We need a striker. And it could be that one good signing makes all the difference

Interesting that Liverpool did nothing in the last two transfer windows and won the league and Newcastle did nothing the last three and won a cup.

I'm beginning to wonder if financial rules are diluting the ability to bring in better players than they already have.

It's like clubs are just signing any old **** these days to fill squads, so it's highly unlikely Arsenal will turn into trophy winners simply by adding Watkins or David and it could make you worse.

Critiscm is one thing - we were poor. But the press in this country is a ****ing cesspool.

The way things get presented by the likes of Talksport. It was actually a fairly close game and yet we were nowhere near our best. I think we win that game with Thomas Partey.

Gonna be hard now we are a goal down - but it's certainly still alive..

If you look at the two biggest spenders in recent years Chelsea and United - they haven't improved at all. Just had a consant rotation of new players in and out.

I like our policy which is if you can't get a proven player, then don't bother at all. I mean, we recruit youth players and already established ones between 22-25. They'll not spunk money on someone with a hairband and a fancy name.

Dembele confirmed hamstring so he’s probably out of next Wednesday unless it’s the slightest hamstring injury in the world
