Partey's been excellent this game I have to say.

Mikel Merino coming on for his Arsenal debut.

We are very compact out of possession. PSG passing the ball around backwards and sideways, but there's no penetrative pass to play in behind. Great cohesive structure off the ball.

PSG have hit the bar and then hit an awkward swerving shot that almost wrong foots Raya, but he thankfully makes the save. All in the last 3-4 minutes.

We need to get a foothold back in the game. We sat off too early. Need a spell of sustained possession to calm the nerves.

We're penned in. We need an outlet that can be a pressure valve to halt PSG's momentum whilst also taking us further up the pitch. Have to find a way to reduce the strain on our defence and midfield.

Great pressing from Rice to force the error to Jesus. The ball ricochets around the box and Saka finds a way to find Martinelli, who needs to do much, much better with that chance. A tame effort straight at Donnarumma.

PSG pleading for a penalty here, but not for me. The ball deflects onto his arm, there's nothing he can do about that. Surely, they won't give this...

EDIT: OK, good. Common sense prevails.

Kiwior did well there, when he was under pressure in our own box from two PSG players. Good composure and pass selection.

Calafiori was lucky. He should have just cleared the ball. Don't take a touch in your own box when you have PSG players around you. Thankfully, the ball goes out for a goal kick.

This half has had very few chances, but Havertz has done well.

Showed good centre-forward play with his ability to bring the ball down from goal kicks, occupied the CBs when the ball's been played up to him, won fouls to relieve pressure off the defence and was combative in his duels.

    Good performance!

Second half we should have done better on the break.

Havertz had a great game - hold up play was first class.

    FT. 2-0.

Good win and great to get a clean sheet too <ok>.

The job was done in the first half, but we did have a few scares in the second half. Kolo Muani and Fabian Ruiz coming made PSG more threatening. Thankfully, we did what we had to defensively and Raya didn't have a plethora of saves to make. We still looked threatening on the counter, but sometimes our final ball wasn't right, which let us down. Or the finishing was weak.

On the plus side, happy for Merino to make his debut. He looked solid. Got stuck straight in when he came on the pitch, which is good to see that he's willing to do the dirty side of the game.

Happy days <ok> Onto the next.

Soo far Saka has 7 assists and 2 goals this Season (in 9 games) and I don't think he's really found his best form yet.
