If you'd read my actual posts rather than just going emo on me you'd see i had already explained my thinking behind team selection. Go for the best first 11 and a subs bench mixed between experience and youth, giving us the option to bring on players to make sure we win or giving the youth a chance if we are a few goals ahead. Wilshere has had niggles and struggled for form recently and if Rosicky is fit i'd rather Rosicky was in the team and Wilshere was given a rest. Maybe i am slightly overly confident about how we will perform in the game and giving two spots on the bench to youth is too much? Either way your nonsense about Bendtner and Eisfeld just made you look like an idiot. People who ridiculously exagerate someone elses point to try and win are just failures. It was clear that my thinking was about having a mixture of youth and experience on the bench - not some stupid nonsense about dropping all our key players, you ******.
Oh and A87 i missed the little line about Ryo having never impressed - LOL - you clearly haven't followed his career so far so don't try to comment on it
I would like to see Miyaichi given a run out for us but not in an important champions league game. I would give him a run in the FA Cup or a late sub when we're comfortably winning.
Szcsesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Flamini, Wilshere, Ramsey, Ozil, Rosicky, Giroud Subs: Fabianski, Vermaelen, Arteta, Walcott, Cazorla, Bendtner, Gnabry
OM: Mandanda; Abdallah, N'Koulou, Mendes, Morel; Lemina, Romao; J Ayew, Imbula, Khalifa; Gignac sUBS: Samba, Cheyrou, Thauvin Diawara Mendy Fanni Valbuena
We have some real quality on the bench for this game. Interesting to see Rosicky start ahead of Cazorla. I can see Cazorla and Walcott comming on as a double sub at 65ish mins and destroying a tired Marseille.
No Gibbs on the bench either, can only presume he's being rested or picked up a little knock. Can't see anything about him having an injury anywhere ??
No idea. Not worried though, Monreal is quality. Hopefully Gibbs is back in the fold by the weekend though, i like the option of playing both Monreal and Gibbs on the left together to close out games.
Yeah when they are both on the pitch nothing gets down the left at all, they completely close it up. Everytime we are ahead and Monreal is brought on with Gibbs i am always confident we are not going to conceed.
Love Champions League nights, watching Arsenal play against other top teams from around Europe really is a joy. I appreciate being in the competition. Come on Arsena!
